Class essays can be posted in this directory. To add a new page type the page name (a short title reflecting your topic) in the box below. The essays should be posted in the 'essays' directory.

You can go to the Research page for a list of useful resources. Remember the wiki requires a special syntax for formatting. I sketched some tips in the sample essay.

You can choose one of these or find one of your own. Some of these topics are pretty broad and you'd need to find a way to narrow your focus. IN fact, several might write on the same topic if they have different focii. Some of the topics below are large enough to prompt final research papers. You might find a topic of your own by considering topics we discuss in class or that can be found in the readings. Let me know what you're thinking about and maybe I can offer some help.
